A visit to an organic winery

The winery we’ll be visiting is in the village of Pozuelo del Rey about 40 minutes from the centre of Madrid. There we’ll be greeted by the owners, Carlos and Estrella. In this charming setting they will explain how they make their wine and we’ll have the opportunity of tasting their best vintages and learning all about the different characteristics of each.

If you would prefer a longer trip we can also explore the vineyards.

After the visit we can arrange a lunch or dinner of tapas, or even the Madrid speciality cocido madrileño.

The Winery also offers cooking classes and cocktail classes.

Tapas lunch or dinner

We’ll sample Iberian cured ham and pork, Campo Real sheep’s cheese, olives, Spanish omelette, croquettes, garlic mushrooms and desert – all washed down with organic Quebel wine.

Cocido madrileño

One of Madrid’s most typical dishes – a rich stew made with chickpeas and meat and served during the winter months.
